Athens, Ga Photographer Richard Hamm – Editorial, Corporate, Portrait, Weddings
Last Friday I went to The Bad Manor in downtown Athens, Ga. to have my first experience shooting Mixed Martial Arts. The Bad Manor, a bar on Broad Street, was hosting a round of amateur MMA fights and despite knowing I was going to have a long day on the sidelines of a UGA football game the next day, I had to go. And I’m glad I did.
The lighting was ruff, hence the black & white, but I also thought the contrast and tones really lent itself to b&w. The might be having regular fights there, which I hope means the will add a bit more lighting above the ring, but I know I’ll be there regardless.
