In 7 days I shot 14 studio portraits ( at least 2 different looks each) 4 football practices and 4 location portraits to run in a special high school football preview tab in the Athens Banner-Herald called the Terrific 10.

The original theme was high school yearbook photos and a layout that represented that.  I worked on that theme and found an old metalic background piece in the studio at the paper and worked from there.  I also wanted to do some action style portraits as backups so while I had the players in the studio I tried out a few different techniques.

This was a tremendous learning experience for me that I’m glad I undertook.  I hit a few bumps but all and all I’m still very happy with the final results.
